ICU2™ is ideal for the critically ill bariatric patient. Our Big Turn support surface provides clinically effective low air loss therapy in all function settings. When rotation is not needed, pulsation mode provides active pressure redistribution by increasing and decreasing pressure over the entire body at preset cycle times.
Percussion and vibration therapy is also included. The control settings allow for three areas of the lung to be percussed and vibrated independently with varying degrees of intensity. The nurse can begin therapy with the assurance that the control will automatically stop at a prescribed time.
Our standard Rest Secure System™ includes an integrated scale, bed exit alarm, and protocol timer that interfaces with the nurse call system. The deck height of 30” allows for an adjustable ergonomic working environment for caregivers. ICU2 also includes cardiac chair positioning, Trendelenburg, and Reverse Trendelenburg, as well as a head of bed angle indicator to assist in preventing Ventilator Associated Pneumonia.
