Evolution A™ is designed to assist in moisture management in conjunction with alternation therapy. Alternation therapy offers active pressure redistribution in two therapy modes: 1 in 3 Alternation Low Air Loss and Static Low Air Loss. Alternation low air loss therapy is for the treatment and/or prevention of skin breakdown, such as stages 1-4 pressure injuries. The 1 in 3 alternation system means every 3rd cell deflates depending on the programmed cycle time (between 3 to 20 minutes) to produce alternating pressure redistribution. Continuous static low air loss keeps skin cool and dry by managing the microclimate and support moisture management protocols.
Our standard Rest Secure System™ includes an integrated scale, bed exit alarm, and protocol timer that interfaces with the nurse call system. The deck height of 30” allows for an adjustable ergonomic working environment for caregivers. The bed also includes cardiac chair positioning, 20 degree Trendelenburg, and Reverse Trendelenburg as well as a head of bed angle indicator to assist with Ventilator Associated Pneumonia.
